Learn new sewing skills and create your own unique piece with Asmaa & Fauve! Our full-day sewing workshop offers beginner-friendly instruction, size options, and a relaxed atmosphere. Once you have booked, you will receive a copy of the pattern and instructions on what you need to do to prepare this will include cutting your pattern and fabric before the event.

We encourage you to bring your own sewing machine with you for familiarity. If not let us know and we'll make sure there is a machine ready for you.

The workshop will start at 9am, please arrive 10 minutes before to help avoid delays.

Soft drinks will be provided including Tea and Coffee. You will need to bring your own lunch or make arrangements for lunch. The Lillies Café is located on site, this may require pre-booking.

Fearne Pattern.

The Fearne box top is the ultimate pick ‘n’ mix sewing pattern! Not only do you pick your neckline style, sleeve style, hem length and hem style, you can choose woven or knit fabric too. Go wild and mix a woven bodice and sleeve with a knitted cuff and waistband! There are so many variations and combinations.
The tie front version offers privacy with the front neckline and is great for a beginner. The button front version and binding sleeve hem are great next steps towards trickier sewing techniques for a confident beginner. Sewing this pattern using knit fabric is a great entry into working with knits, without worrying too much about the fit as it’s loose fitting.
Make in a lightweight cotton lawn fabric for a classic summer look, try a medium weight jersey fabric for a wintery cardigan or go all out and make in a soft drapey velvet for that jeans and a nice top look!
